For 2021, once again the continuing shadow of the pandemic prevented us from hosting the event “live” for the enjoyment of our many hundreds of contributors and fans. With signs that we are collectively bringing this all too pervasive issue under control, we hope to be able to plan and host a live event in 2022. We will continue our diligence and high regard for the health and safety of all of our participants, friends, and family.
Despite having to stay virtual for the 2021 fundraising effort so many contributors stood up to come forward to contribute to our featured charity for the benefit of less advantaged children here in southern Arizona. The efforts of the 2021 Jonathan’s Fun Chili Cook-Off brought forth contributions of more than $17,000 for the benefit of the Arizona Daily Star Sportsmens’ Fund with all contributions going to the benefit of the Send a Kid to Camp initiative.
